The Delegation of AMU – Lusophone Cooperation and Solidarity for a United World of São João da Madeira was in our facilities in Braga. Representatives Francisco Maia and Vítor Oliveira signed a protocol of collaboration with H Sarah Trading. This private and non-profit association aims to contribute to the realization of a more united world, in which each individual and each people can express and fully develop their identity. AMU develops solidarity activities, “namely the AMU Community Bazaar, where it sells various low-priced items and utilities donated by individuals and companies. Sales revenues are mainly directed towards the city’s social responses and programs to support families, community projects and social action, as well as for the activities of the institution. This project involves several citizens and companies that contribute in three ways: as donors of articles and utilities, as buyers in the Community Bazaar, and as volunteers in the operation and logistics of the project .” This partnership consists of the collection of surplus material that is donated to the association, in addition to the strong social and environmental character it represents.
